Shaan Shahid

As his name defines, Shan is the true talent of Pakistan and has proved himself the pride of this nation by representing Pakistani culture and traditions all over the world. Shan Shahid is a Pakistani actor who started his career in the Pakistani film industry in 1990 and has given more than 120 Pakistani movies worth to watch. Some of his hits did a great business and were praised and acknowledged worldwide. He also directed some movies that were of course famous as well.

He was born to a famous director Riaz Shahid and actress Neelofer. His father was a Muslim but mother was Christian. Shan, who was first named as Armaghan is now a practicing Muslim. He never thought of becoming an actor in fact he wanted to become a lawyer and after the completion of studies at Atchison College, he went to New York where he stayed 7 years and studied at newton high school. After returning back to the homeland at age of 17, he took over his father’s film making business and stepped into the film industry. He made his debut in “Bulandi” which was released in 1990.

He worked in numerous Urdu and Punjabi movies and took Pakistani film industry to the clouds of success when gave a hit “Khuda k liye” in 2007. In 2013, his movie “WAAR” has created a history in Pakistani film industry and broke down the record of many successful Bollywood movies and the holly wood “fast and furious 6”. In addition to acting, the actor is also busy in directing the movies. He is also seen on the GEO TV morning show “GEO SHAAN SE” wher his fans can call him daily and talk to him.

Despite of binsg such a successful artist, Shan is always kind towards his fans and very patriotic. He is always down to earth and participates in the social causes whole heartedly. Due to the impressive and appealing personality, Shan has been in demand of many brands as brand ambassador. He has been a brand ambassador of Mobil ink, Lux limited edition, Pepsi, Q mobile, Proctor and gamble and many others.

He has been awarded with much dignity and respect by the nation. In his 13 years of successful career, his talent has been appraised and valued in the forms of awards and honors which include:
