Remember, there are first few questions that are always asked in the interview no matter for what job or place you have applied for. One of those questions is “tell us about yourself”. This is the bizarre question which queens you making you think about what to say now. Of course it is so stupid that everything is already mentioned in the resume in front of interviewer, still you need to tell all things about yourself verbally. This is basically done to test the self-confidence and how you see yourself. Always talk positive things about you and mention your strengths. Be confident about yourself and tell about good things in you. Talk about your goals and vision and why you are suitable for this position.

Do not start with telling your name and then education etc., these things are already mentioned in the resume and they know about it. Tell them something they don’t about you. Your personality, likings, good habits, strengths etc. never talk about your weaknesses much. This will bring your moral down. Interviewer may ask you to mention your weaknesses, be calm and tell them your general weaknesses. Never talk of something personal and sentimental.
Keep your tone high and pace low. Smiling will make your personality pleasant. Do not talk so less that they think you are rude and quiet and do not be so talkative that the interviewer starts getting irritated. Wait for your turn to speak. Sit in proper gestures. Use your hands and voice tone to make your words more effective. Effective communication will leave an amazing impact on the interviewer and force him to listen to you even if he don’t likes you.

Do not hesitate to ask question in the end. Talk about the job responsibilities. Company’s code of conduct etc. this will make them realize that how serious and dedicated you are regarding the company.
