How to Write a Successful Resume

CV is a crucial part of your life as it represents you everywhere in professional life. It plays an important role in determining the success of your career and professional life. A resume or CV is just like your personal advertisement. You need to describe all about your skills and abilities and have to mention n details that how you can prove to be fruitful n some certain way. Remember, it’s the CV that takes you to the interview seat and gives you the chance to defend yourself for an opportunity you want to avail.
One must be very careful when writing a CV because the more mistakes in CV, more are your chances to get rejected and you will not give any chance to justify for yourself. Here are some CV writing tips that you must follow to end up having a great resume that will surely let you get placed at your dream place.

1)Objective
Objective is a small yet powerful part of your resume in which you need to write about your goals. Be short and precise. It will let the reader know about your passion and goals and determines whether your goals can benefit a certain organization or not. Therefore be specific and relevant.
Tip: Change your objective statement as you change the job accordingly.

2)Experiences and projects
This is one of the most important section in the CV and you need to highlight every relevant experience that you have regarding the post you have applied for. Elaborate properly what you have done and what were your responsibilities. this will let the reader understand your caliper and what you need to know more about the work.
Tip: If you do not have any experience, do not write this section. Never mention “NO EXPERIENCE”.

3)Educational background
List down all your educational degrees and diplomas with the most recent first. Make sure that you write year of completion, degree, major subjects and grades.
Tip: if you do not have good grades, do not mention them.

4)Strengths and interests
Write your habits, hobbies and good things about you that will convince the users to believe that you are a strong and able person who will prove to be good for their company. Everyone wants not only a professional but a good human as well who can add good things to their environment.

5)Personal Information
Write your official name, contact address, contact number and email address. You may add age and CNIC number as well in some cases. Make sure you write emergency number so that you do not miss any call.
