Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA):

Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi or the “Centre of Education and consciousness” is a nonprofit making Public Trust which was born to respond dark clouds of illiteracy and to promote mission of literate Pakistan.  ITA came into existence with the aim “to promote education as a comprehensive process for human and social transformation”.
To embark on making people strong regarding having community based organizations to provide education, research and to handle problems related with educational services is the objective of ITA.  All the members of the organization have a common goal of pooling available resources for sharing best practices and to promote mission of Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi. 

ITA is providing training, documentation, scholarships and internships to making the process of delivering the best of knowledge in effective way for the persons related with educational sector.    Major programs of ITA in Pakistan include WSIP program which was about “whole school improvement program” and Literacy and livelihood programs for youth and adults and early childhood education which they call ECE, CSR which mean “corporate social responsibility” which was initiated to develop public and private sector partnership for the purpose of providing education.

ITA touched number of 700 schools through whole school improvement program.  They also have provided more than 20000 teachers and professionals to provide education and to train other teachers for this purpose.   Under local governance and school’s own based management they have trained “500” schools which is also an achievement.
