Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) -A wise man first thinks and then speaks and a fool speaks first and then thinks. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - Peak of knowledge is friendship and causing offence destroys it. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - Do not violate the rights of your friend, because when deprives of his rights and privileges he will not remain your friend. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - Do not develop friendship with the enemy of your friend otherwise your friend will turn into an enemy. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - Unfortunate is the one who cannot gain a few sincere friends during his life and more unfortunate is the one who has gained them and then lost them (Through his deeds). Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - If you want to cease relation with your friend, then do not break off totally and completely, let your heart retain some consideration of him. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - Do not run after him who tries to avoid you. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - A virtuous person is better than virtue and a vicious person is worse than vice. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Backbiting is the attempt of one who is incapable [of doing better himself]. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - Do not fall into despair over wrong action, when the door of turning to Him in repentance is always open. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - During civil disturbance adopt such an attitude that people do not attach any importance to you - they neither burden you with complicated affairs, nor try to derive any advantage out of you. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - Imam Ali (A.S.) was asked about destiny and he replied: '' It is a dark path; do not tread it. It is a deep ocean; do not dive in it and it is a secret of Allah; do not trouble yourselves for knowing it.'' There is no knowledge without practice, and no practice without knowledge. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - He who dissembles plays with his honor. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - When God wants to humiliate a person He deprives him of knowledge. Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (R.A) - When your power increases, decrease your desires accordingly.
