Shab-e-Miraj

The night of Ascent means the Shab-e-Miraj, a night of blessings.  In this night our beloved prophet (S.A.W.W) spiritually visited the heaven and reached the seven stages of the sky. This event takes place on 27^th day of the Rajab.  On this blessed and ascent night the prophet peace be upon him met the Hazrat Adam, Hazrat Abraham, Hazrat Moses and jesus. This night came to show the and confirm the high status of the Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W.W.  Even Gabriel is not allowed to go forward after the first stage. After the tour Muslims are blessed with five prayers.
