This year, the world has once again faced a jaw drop moment when Terrafugia announced about their flying car that can run on road on the normal car fuel as well as fly in the air. Few years back, it was the future prediction that 50 years from now, we will be having the flying cars in the sky. People really got amazed building such imaginations and thinking about it but one had never thought that it will come true that early. After a hard work of years, Terrafuga, a small, privately held American corporation developed the aircraft Transition that can work as aircraft as well as road craft. It was proposed that the vehicle will be delivered by 2015, however, they have showed their hard work of day and nights and achieved their goal. All they were waiting was the approval of Federal Aviation Administration.

The wait is over and federal aviation administration has ended all the obstacles between Terrafugia and success by approving the design and working and declaring it as the first in its type light sports craft. Vehicle that may well be the first commercially viable flying car. The agency has agreed to classify the Terrafugia Transition as a Light Sport Aircraft, even though the vehicle is 120 pounds too heavy to qualify for that class. It is a two seated vehicle, that runs normally on the petroleum on the road and when you unfold the wings it becomes ready to fly as an aircraft. If you want to drive it, you will have to get a silence after getting yourself qualified for a 20 hour long flight time.

It is one in its own kind and getting commercial nowadays. It has a flying range of over 400 miles, and in the air, can reach 115 mph.in order to get a license initially , you will not only have to qualify the flight time, but will pass through the special trainings, medical checkups and other security measures to make it a safe drive. You will have to deposit $10,000 to get it booked and then start saving for more money as well until your masterpiece gets ready. The final price so far is being estimated as $194,000.
