Pakistan is country rich in natural talent and determined potential when it comes to the nature of people who live in Pakistan. Pakistan has produced many big names in the field of science who have served the country in the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Medical Biotechnology, Medicine and Nuclear Physics. These scientists have shown the world their true potential through extreme hard work and instinctive genius which they always possessed.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan:

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan was born on April 1, 1936 in Bhopal. He is a famous scientist of Pakistan who worked on the enrichment of the Uranium in the Research Laboratories of Pakistan to strengthen the security forces of Pakistan. It was owing to the services of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan that Pakistan became the Atomic Power in 1998 with a successful experience of 6 nuclear bombs explosions.

Dr. Abdul Salam:

Dr. Abdul Salam was born in the city of Jhang on January 29, 1926. Dr. Abdul Salam was the first scientist of Pakistan to be awarded with the noble prize in 1979 for his services in the field of Physics. He has been the founder of many national and international research institutes. He was the founding director of the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission of Pakistan. He was also the founder of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Italy which is now known as the Abdul Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics.

Dr. Ishfaq Ahmad:

Dr. Ishfad Ahmad is one of the most senior and popular scientists of Pakistan. He was born in 1930. He was honored with the degree of Doctor of Science by the Punjab Univeristy of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan. He was appointed as the chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy commission in 2001 which speaks loud about his greatness in the field of Science and Technology.

Dr. Parvez Hoodboy:

Dr. Parvez Hoodboy is a famous Nuclear Physicist of Pakistan. He is also a prominent Political Defense Analyst in the country. He was born in 1950. He emerged as a real genius in the field of neuclear physics and Mathematics on the International Arena when he got the Baker Award for Electronics in 1968 and the Abdul Salam Prize for Mathematics in 1984.
 

Prof. Dr. Abdullah Sadiq:

Dr. Abdullah Sadiq was born in 1940. He is also a well known Scientist of Pakistan. He was honored with the Prize from the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in 1987 for his services Mathematics and Solid State Physics. He is worldwide famous scientist of Pakistan for his research in the field of Phase Transmission Theory, Solid State Nuclear Track Detector and Computer Simulation.

Dr. Samar Mubarkmand:

Dr. Samar Mubarkmand was born in 1942. He is among the pioneers of the Fluid Aerodynamics and Nuclear Physics in Pakistan. He laid the foundation of the National Engineering and Scientific Commission of Pakistan which set off the Missile Integration Program in 1987. He got three of the most prestigious civil awards from the Government of Pakistan. These awards are Nishan-e-Imtiaz, Hilal-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz.

Dr. Prof. Shahid H. Bokhari:

Dr. Prof. Shahid H. Bokhari was born in 1953. He is a renowned Scientist of Pakistan in field of Electorincs and computer Engineering.  He is internationally recognized in this regard as the highly proficient researcher of Pakistan in the field of Distributed and Parallel Computing.

Dr. Salimuzzaman Siddiqui:

Dr. Salimuzzaman Siddiqui was born in 1897 in U.P India. He has been recognized as the pioneer of Research and Development in Pakistan. He is known for his astonishing services in the field of Chemistry. He was chosen as the fellow of Royal Society of UK in 1960. He was the first scientist of Pakistan to receive such a distinction.

Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman:

Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman was born in 1942. He was specialized in the field of Organic Chemistry. He is very popular scientist of Pakistan and got a large number of prestigious national and international awards for his services in the field of Chemistry. He also was elected as the fellow with the Royal Society of UK. He was also awarded with the Nishan-e-Imtiaz, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Hilal-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz from the government of Pakistan. He has over 654 Publications which are recognized worldwide I the field of Organic chemistry.

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui:

Dr. Afia Siddiqui was born on 1972 in Karachi. She is famous in the world as the neuroscientist of Pakistan. She is actually an American educated Pakistani. She studied and worked in many International institutes of the world and got the competence in many fields of science. She got the Carroll L Wilson Award in 1992 for her research proposal which was named as Islamization in Pakistan and its effects on Women”. She is a stunning researcher and a famous neuroscientist.

unfortunately we have few scientists in pakistan who have done tremendous job. i hope to have more scientists like Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan in future
