Top 10 All Time Great Cricketers of Pakistan


Pakistan is a major Cricket playing nation in the world. The country has a well established Cricket Team that displays its talent all around the globe. The Pakistan Cricket Team has seen many highs in its Cricketing history and has won many International titles including one 50 Over Cricket World Cup in 1992 and one T20 World Cup in 2009. The Pakistan Cricket Team has produced some great players who have represented the country on all levels. Among these great players there have been some extra ordinary iconic players who served Pakistan and made great records for the Pakistan Cricket Team.

Hanif Mohammad:

Hanif Mohammad is one of the great Cricketers that Pakistan has produced. The elegant and stylish left handed batsman was known for his excellent technique, long lasting stamina and unique stroke play. A wonderful triple century is behind his name which he made against the dangerous bowling line up of West Indies in late 1950’s.

Zaheer Abbas:

Zaheer Abbas was a great asset of Pakistan Cricket Team and is regarded as the Asian Bradman. He was the most stylish top order batsmen of his time. Abdul Hafeez Kardar was an extremely potent international cricketer for Pakistan. Imran Khan:

Imran Khan would remain famous as a wonderful Impact player in the cricket history of Pakistan with great all round abilities. He holds the honor of winning the first ever International One day Cricket World Cup for Pakistan in 1992. He was great leader and an excellent team.
 
 

Wasim Akram:

Wasim Akram was the best ever Left Arm Fast Bowler not only in Pakistan but also in the World Cricket. He was a terrific fast bowler who would tweak the bowl both ways with immense control on it. He was a nightmare for every batsman. He is the leading wicket taker in Pakistan cricket history

Waqar Younas:

The era of two W’s including Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram was the golden era of Pakistan Cricket. The toe breaking Yorkers of Waqar Younis were a sight every cricket fan would love to watch. He used to pick wickets at will and was an excellent ambassador of Pakistan Cricket.

Inzamam-ul-Haq:

The big man Inzamam-ul-Haq was a God gifted player for Pakistan despite of having an unlike body structure for a cricketer. He was a great batsman who had exquisite timing and he performed all around the world and achieved international success. He is also the second highest run scorer behind Javed Mindad. He also holds a very successful record as the captain of Pakistan Cricket Team.

Shoaib Akhtar:

The Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar was an extremely fast bowler of Pakistan. He bowled the fastest delivery in a match against England in the 2003 World Cup and made the history which has not been changed yet. He was a great striker and used to dazzle the batsmen with his stunning bouncers.

Mohammad Yousaf:

Mohammad Yousaf evolved in the Pakistan Cricket team as the run machine. He could be regarded as the most reliable cricketer of Pakistan Cricket ever produced. The batsman holds the record for most runs and centuries in a calendar year when he broke the record of Sir Vivian Richards in 2006 when he made 1788 runs.
