Mohatta Palace

Mohatta palace is one of the beautiful locations in Karachi which is also a symbol of love like the Taj mahal which is build in the loving memory of shah Jahan. The Mohatta is also being constructed as the loving symbol but to save the life of the Shivratan Mohatta wife. The palace is constructed because the Mohatta wife is suffering from serious illness and doctors said to him that the refreshing sea air is the treatment for her. Then he decided to construct a beautiful bungalow for his wife which is covering the large area. He is a wealthy businessman at that time and builds the palace for his wife. The palace is beautifully design by the Mughal architects. The rooms of the royal palace are absolutely delighted and luxurious.

It is located in Karachi by the Hindu Marwari family in 1927. They migrated from Bikaner to Hyderabad. They have the four children and become the merchant of imported cloth. In 1995 it is purchased by the Sindh Government and makes it a museum of art of Pakistan. In 1999 this has been open and has the beautiful collection of art such as Queen Victoria statue and the soldiers of the Raj.
